Dealership Dashboard

Analytics Portal: The Dealership Dashboard makes extensive use of graphing to provide an easy to use analytics solution. Built from the ground up on open source technologies, this project runs off a Mondrian cube and capitalizes on the power of MDX to simplify complex metrics. Portal pages are built using the concept of widgets. Widgets are self-contained components in this case graphs, data tables, navigation and filter menus. Widgets subscribe to events raised by navigation and filter menus and update themselves accordingly. This de-coupling allows dashboard pages to be assembled easily by simply specifying a selection of widgets to use.

Sanxploit

EMC Clariion Reporting Solution: Sanxploit combines the best of web 2.0 and storage reporting to bring end users a slick user interface and quality reports with graphs. The application allows users to track host storage allocation, view free capacity, check MirrorView sync status and view headroom by drive type. The application is also a poster child for open source technologies and incorporates Rails for the UI, PostgreSQL for the database, JasperServer/JasperReports for embedded reporting, Pentaho PDI for ETL and and Perl for text scrubbing.

SABiomedical

Loan Set Management: This project makes extensive of web 2.0 technologies to automate an existing manual process around loan set bookings. With an integrated inter-branch whiteboard, the applciation allows the easy management and review of operational commitments.

Staff productivity is improved by speeding up the intensive data capturing and constant management of changing requirements. Documentation is generated on demand to facilitate the final, manual process of packaging and distribution.

NetTreasury Systems

NetTreasury's online trading platform: NetTreasury Sytems are moving away from their existing client-server application architecture, to a more updated web presence. The flagship of this effort is the new NTWeb system. We are proud to be a part of the team which will bring this fantastic new product to market. NTWeb allows companies to take their financial maturity to a new level.

Forex: Through self management or trade delegation, NTWeb puts as much control in your hands as you want. Underpinned by a workflow based design, users are dynamically updated on new deals, changes in rates and other important information.
Cash manangement: Users keep track of their expenses, budgets, commitments and other financials, through a powerful cash management tool. With extensive reports, intuitive budgetting and forecasting, your companies cash position is readily available and accurate.
Loans and deposits: By providing comprehensive loan and account management, NTWeb makes it easy to make the most of your cashflow.
Commodities trading: The metals trading platform allows companies to manage their stock and positions accurately and with ease.
Commitments: By integrating Forex trading with a easy to use commitments module, users can review their exposure at a glance.

Enterprise Value Matrix

EVX Business Evaluation: The Enterprise Value Matrix (EVX for short), is a first of it's kind web-system. We are bringing the market an innovative new way of evaluating companies. The system is comprised of four modules, each addressing a specific area of interest in the evaluation of a company. Contact us for a demonstration.

Capital: Measure the true value of an organisation, by taking into account factors such as it's employees, directors, branding, intellectual property and much more. No longer do you have to make a guess based on just the bottom line.
Risk: To help companies assess their own vulnerabilities, we include the Risk module for EVX. This tool allows companies to objectively measure their own exposure and risk by looking at various factors throughout the organisation.
Compliance: In a time when corporate governance plays such a key role in the success of a business, EVX lends a hand in assessing the level of compliance. By measuring and comparing compliance levels, or progress made in the implementation of compliance standards, an organisation can now see an up to date view on their position.

Easyrails

Easyrails rail scheduling system: This project is a "quick and dirty" mockup to illustrate basic scheduling and graphing capability.

The application allows users to define trains, routes, stops and schedules. Intuitive graphs allow users to monitor a train at a glance.

RubySA

RubySA Community Portal: Shuntyard built and sponsored this community site to help South African rubyists find work and collaborate. Still in it's infancy this Rails 3 project will soon be getting some social love with twitter and facebook integration.
